You have the option to register for either a 2-unit (MKTG 482-5) or a 4-unit course (MKTG 484-8) based on your program and individual needs. While both options have identical classroom requirements, the required internship hours differ, with a minimum of 72 work hours for the 2-unit course and 155 work hours for the 4-unit course.
The course prerequisites for the internship are BUS 300 and either MKTG 302 or MKTG 305.
Your performance in the internship course is evaluated on a Credit/No Credit basis. This means that instead of receiving a traditional letter grade, you will receive credit for the course if your work meets or exceeds the established criteria, including attendance to class meetings, participation, completion of all assignments, and demonstration of professional skills.
